Easy Slutty Brownie Recipes

One of the best things about slutty brownies is that they can be customized with a variety of flavors. The brownies, Oreos, and even the cookie dough, can all be swapped for different flavors, so you can make multiple slutty brownie combinations.

This recipe is also super easy to make with store bought cookie dough, and brownie box mix. Of course, you can make them from scratch if you have a favorite recipe, but when you need an effortless dessert, use the pre-made options!

Why are they called slutty brownies?

The name comes from the the fact that the brownies are so rich and decadent, that it seems a bit “naughty” to eat them. If you prefer to call them something else, you can call them naughty brownies, dirty brownies, heavenly brownies, or sinful brownies. No matter what you call them, they are going to be a family-favorite dessert!

Tips for Making the Best Slutty Brownies

  • Bake in the middle of your oven: Place your baking dish in the center of your oven, on the center rack, for an even bake.
  • Choose the Right Pan: Use an 8×8 or 9×9-inch pan for thick, gooey brownies, or a 9×13-inch pan for thinner layers. Line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  • Chill the dough before topping each layer: Refrigerate the cookie dough layer for 10–15 minutes before adding the Oreos and brownie batter. This prevents the layers from mixing too much during baking.

Slutty Brownies Variations

  • Make them Festive: Use seasonal Oreo cookies to add color and make them special for holidays. You can also have holiday sprinkles into the dough for extra color.
  • Add Peanut Butter to the Chocolate: Spread creamy peanut butter in between the layers, or use peanut butter filled Oreo cookies. You can also make peanut butter chocolate chip cookie dough for your base.
  • Drizzle with Caramel: Drizzle salted caramel sauce over the brownies and then top with crushed Oreos for a beautiful caramel and cookie finish.
  • Use a Round Baking Pan: If you don’t have a rectangle pan, use an 8 or 9 inch baking pan to make this recipe. You can still cut them into small pieces, or slice them into slivers like a pie.

FAQ’S

How do I store my slutty brownies?

If you have leftovers from this slutty brownies recipe, you can store them on the counter for 1-2 days. If you want to keep them longer, place them in an airtight container and keep them in the refrigerator for up to a week. Any longer than that and I recommend freezing them.

Can I make this ahead of time and freeze it?

Yes! These brownies can be made ahead of time and frozen so you can bring them out whenever you like. After baking and cooling, slice and wrap individual brownies in plastic wrap or foil. Then place all of the brownies into a resealable plastic bag. When you’re ready to eat, pull a brownie out of the freezer and allow it to thaw on the counter or place in the microwave for 20-30 seconds.
