How to Make Marry Me Chicken
STEP 1: Season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and if using, red pepper flakes.

STEP 2: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove the chicken and set aside.

STEP 3: Lower heat to medium and add chicken broth to the same skillet. Scrape up any browned bits from the pan. (These bits add so much extra flavor to the sauce!)
STEP 4: Stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and sun-dried tomatoes, then let the sauce simmer for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.

STEP 5: Add the chicken back into the skillet, spooning some sauce over the top. Let it simmer for 10-12 minutes until the chicken is cooked through. It should reach an internal temperature of 165°F.

STEP 6: Garnish with fresh basil or chopped parsley. Serve with pasta, mashed potatoes, or bread to soak up the sauce.
Tips
- Sear the chicken well- It adds color and flavor to the dish.
- Simmer gently- Avoid boiling the cream sauce to keep it smooth.
- Freshly grate the Parmesan- For the best texture and taste.
- Serve with sides- Pasta or Roasted Potatoes pair perfectly.

FAQ’S
Store leftovers in an airtight container, in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Reheat gently on the stovetop or in the microwave. Making it in the microwave can sometimes leave the chicken a little dry or rubbery, so I recommend it to be made on the stovetop. I also add a spoonful of cream to the sauce when I reheat it, to keep it thick and creamy.
Serve it over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes with crusty bread on the side.
Absolutely! Chicken thighs work great and stay juicy.
