How to Make a Peach Cobbler Shot

STEP 1: To make the rimmed glass, pour a splash of Crown Royal Peach onto a small plate. Then, on another small plate, combine crushed graham crackers, brown sugar, and a pinch of cinnamon if desired. Stir gently to mix.

Shot glass being dipped into graham cracker crumbs to line the rim.

STEP 2: Dip the rim of your shot glass into the peach whiskey, then dip it into the graham cracker mixture to coat the rim.

Whiskey being mixed with RumChata in a small shot glass.

STEP 3: Pour one ounce of Crown Royal Peach into the shot glass, then add one ounce of Rumchata on top. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Variations

  • Change the alcohol: Try using a peach vodka for a delicious peach martini.
  • Make it a dessert shot: For a refreshing twist, pour the drink over a small bowl of vanilla ice cream and fresh peach slices.
  • Add fall flavors: Sprinkle a tiny pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg into the drink right before drinking, for a fun fall flavor.
  • Make a peach cobbler cocktail: Double the recipe and then pour into a cocktail shaker over ice. Lightly shake for 5-10 seconds, then strain into a martini glass. Peach cobbler martinis are a really fun way to serve this recipe!

Tips

  • Chill the ingredients: Cold liqueurs make a smoother, creamier shot and make for the best flavor. If making the mixture ahead of time, leave the ice cubes out so it doesn’t water down the drink.
  • Use a clean shot glass: This will help the crushed graham crackers stick better.
  • Make a batch: For a big batch, mix the whiskey and Rumchata together in a large pitcher, without ice. Keep in the refrigerator before the party and prep by coating the rim of the shot glasses and set aside. Then pour shots from the pitcher.

FAQs

What can I use instead of Rumchata?

You can try Baileys or another cream liqueur, but the cinnamon flavor of Rumchata makes it taste just like cobbler.

Can I serve this over ice?

Sure! Turn it into a cocktail by pouring it over ice in a small rocks glass. Just be sure to serve right away so you don’t have a watered down drink.

What can I use to make this non-alcoholic?

To skip the alcohol, swap the whiskey for peach juice or peach nectar. This will still give you a sweet and fruity flavor with rich peach flavor. Then swap out the RumChata for cinnamon vanilla coffee creamer. The creamer will give the drink the creamy flavor, and will keep the flavors of cinnamon and vanilla.
