Nothing says Halloween party quite like a big bowl of Halloween Punch. This punch is fruity, fizzy, and just creepy enough to be fun. It’s refreshing, colorful, and perfect as a non-alcoholic punch for the whole family, or you can spike it for adults with a splash of vodka or rum.

“This punch is fruity, festive, and you can add just the right amount of spooky.”

Ingredients You Will Need

Bottles of pineapple juice, cran-raspberry juice, and lemon lime soda, used to make Halloween punch, on a black marble table.
  • cranberry juice – I use cran-raspberry for an extra deep red color for a spooky base.
  • lemon-lime soda – Adds sweetness and fizz. I used Sprite, but ginger ale or 7 Up would work too!
  • pineapple juice – Balances the tart flavors with tropical sweetness. You can also use one cup of orange juice and one cup of pineapple juice for extra tropical flavor.
  • Ice cubes – Use silicone molds to make fun shapes for Halloween.
  • Plastic spiders or eyeballs – For creepy, festive decoration.
  • 1–2 cups vodka or rum (optional) – Turns the punch into an adult party drink.

Variations

  • Add props to ice cubes: Freeze plastic spiders or eyeballs into the ice cubes for extra Halloween flair. Or use dry ice instead of ice cubes for an extra spooky drink.
  • Add candy: Add gummy worms around the punch bowl for a fun garnish.
  • Leave out soda: Use sparkling water instead of soda for a lighter version.
  • Add ice cream: For a festive twist, you can float scoops of sherbet right on top. Orange sherbet or rainbow sherbet both work perfectly. The sherbet slowly melts into the drink, giving it a frothy look that fits the Halloween theme.
  • Make adult version: Pour in vodka or rum and stir to combine. Adjust to taste.

  1. Add ice cubes. For extra Halloween fun, use silicone molds shaped like skulls, bats, or pumpkins. Serve in cups or glasses and enjoy your spooky punch.

Drop in plastic spiders or plastic eyeballs for decoration. If using food-safe plastic decorations, freeze them into the ice cubes for added effect. *If serving small children, remove any small plastic pieces to avoid choking hazards.

Expert Tips

  • Make ahead: Mix the juices together in advance, and chill in the fridge. Add soda and ice just before serving.
  • Keep it cold: Use a silicone mat under the punch bowl to help protect your table from condensation.
  • Decorate the table: Scatter extra plastic spiders around the bowl for a creepy display.
  • Double it: This recipe can easily be doubled or tripled for large Halloween parties.

Halloween Punch Recipe FAQs

Can I make Halloween punch without alcohol?

Yes, this punch is delicious as a non-alcoholic drink. Just skip the vodka or rum, and it’s perfect for kids and family parties.

Can I prepare the ice cubes ahead of time?

Yes, freeze your fun-shaped ice cubes a day or two in advance. You can even freeze spiders or eyeballs inside them for extra decoration.

How long will Halloween punch stay fizzy?

The lemon-lime soda will keep its fizz for a few hours. For the best texture of the punch, add soda right before serving, and chilling the ingredients before mixing will prevent the ice from melting as fast, so it will stay fizzy longer.
