How to Make Peanut Butter Balls

- In a medium bowl, combine the confectioner’s sugar, creamy peanut butter, and softened butter. Stir until smooth and fully blended. Freeze for 30 to 45 minutes.

- Scoop into one inch balls, roll until smooth, and place on a parchment lined baking sheet. Freeze again for about 30 minutes until firm.

- Melt the melting chocolate in a microwave safe bowl in 30 second increments, stirring between each cycle until smooth. Use a fork or toothpick to dip each chilled peanut butter ball into the melted chocolate and place back onto the parchment.

- Drizzle leftover melted chocolate on top, or sprinkle chopped peanuts or candies on top, if desired and let them harden completely.
Expert Tips
- Keep the mixture cold: Chilled dough rolls more easily and dips without losing its shape.
- Work in small batches: Leave half the rolled balls in the freezer while dipping the others for a cleaner finish.
- Smoother chocolate shell: Stir a small amount of coconut oil into the melted chocolate for extra shine.
- Make them smaller: For kids parties, or when you need more quantity, make the balls smaller. Serve them with a toothpick for a cute pass around dessert bite.
